Tanzania is estimated to be having 20 percent population of Africa’s largest animal species found across its reserves, conservation areas, marine parks, and 17 other national parks, spread over an area of more than 42,000 square kilometres (16,000 sq mi) and forming approximately 38 percent of the country’s territory. Tanzania is known for its extensive migratory herds of wildebeests and zebra and one of the great natural wonders of the world.
KILIMANJARO AIRPORT – ARUSHA
After your arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you will be picked up and taken to the river trees Country Inn in the city of Arushawhich is about 45 minutes away. There you have time to recover from your flight and just to have some time for refreshment. You are also welcomed to book an activity at the lodge (Arusha city tour, canoe trip on Lake Duluti, coffee tour, etc.)

After breakfast, set out on your first game drive in Tarangire National Park. Here you will experience the highest concentration of wildlife outside of the Serengeti. The Park is approximately 2,850 km², which is crossed by River Tarangire with a good impression due to its beautiful landscape which is characterized by grassland and open tree savannahs as well as dense bushland and rocky peaks with sparse vegetation. The following day is also available for extensive game drives.

on your third day, you will continue with Tarangire experiencing the highest concentration of wildlife outside of the Serengeti.

This morning you drive to Lake Manyara National Park with a picnic in your luggage, where you will learn a lot about the natural world and wildlife from your guide. In addition to the varied fauna, the diverse vegetation of the national park is impressive. It is characterized with both lush forest landscape and a large alluvial plain which is very popular with herds of buffalo, wild beasts, and zebras. The national park is named after the lake, you can marvel on its lakeshore at the hot springs Maji Moto which is a geological feature.

You will spend the next three days in the famous Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti National Park is the most famous wilderness area in Africa and is located between the Ngorongoro Highlands, Lake Victoria and Tanzania’s northern border with Kenya. The Park is located on a high plateau of over 2,000 m and enchants with its savannahs and huge herds of game. On the way you can optionally make a short detour to the Olduvai Gorge Museum, in which the oldest human bones can be seen.

On this Day, we continue with the Serengeti experience as we do Game drives watching several Animal spieces crossing from one place to another, the feeling is Breath taking, the experience is worth your Days away from home. The Day is open for several other activities depending on the order of the Day.

NGORONGORO CRATER
This morning, after breakfast, you will have one last game drive in the Serengeti, and you will afterwards continue to Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a picnic in your luggage. The next morning you will experience a game drive of several hours in the Ngorongoro Crater. Today the crater is approx. 600 m deep and is home to around 20,000 large wild animals. Since the water holes in the crater never dries out, most of the animals stay there for their entire life. Use this chance to see hippos, lions, leopards, and elephants as well as some of the last black rhinos in Tanzania.

The Ngorongoro crater is also the world’s largest inactive caldera. The crater floor covers about 260 square kilometers and is the crater is about 600 meters deep. Due to the collapse of an active volcano over 2 million years ago, the Ngorongoro crater was formed. Ngorongoro has got a number of animals which were attracted by its green pastures and other wild factors. You guaranteed to see hippos, lions, leopards, and elephants as well as some of the last black rhinos. Accommodation: Ngorongoro Farmhouse (full board)
DEPARTURE AND CHECK-OUT
After 10 full unforgettable and eventful days, it is unfortunately time to say goodbye today. You can enjoy the morning with a leisurely breakfast before you go to the airport or to your (starting point) and kick-0ff with your journey back home. Keep it in mind that there is always an open option of continuing to Zanzibar on request for extension.
